wild-mail

Received this cool handmade card in the mail from S.R. Wild. In return I sent him a little something – in the first of what I hope is many postal exchanges. The Burlington-based artist and graphic designer encourages trade by mail. It’s a fun idea that revives the spirit of pen-palling and old-fashioned bartering – stressing human touch over keystrokes, emotional value over monetary. Visit his site and drop him a line for his address. Send him something, anything nifty, and he’ll pop something in the mail to you; who knows, he may even incorporate your item into his next piece.

Hey Caleb,

I've been meaning to comment on here but, as usual, I keep getting sidetracked. Anyway, I received your poster and photo in the mail. Thank you.

I walked out on my porch last weekend and there it was, by the door. One of the end caps of the poster tube fell off during its voyage but it arrived intact. It was a nice surprise. I love Russian art and design. I hung it on my wall.

Of course, I posted a little something about it.

Do you mind if I use part of your post as a testimonial on my site?

Glad you like the poster, Scott, almost seems fitting that it arrived minus a cap -- the Russian need to be contained and free at the same time. Sure, you can use my post. Did you get any bites in terms of potential exchanges?
