I wish I'd written that poem. You know, you can e-subscribe to Writer's Almanac; a nice way to start the day and you'll never miss it again.

I'm glad you enjoyed this! I uplink these WA files every week here at MPR and don't hear much feedback about them. I'm glad people in other parts of the country, especially my home-state of VT, are enjoying MPR's programming! :)

thanks for stopping by Eamon, and for your diligent and inspired WA uplinks -- a refreshing daily dose; I see from your blog, you know the other blogger in this box. MPR sounds like fun. I'm actually a commentator here on VPR. My last piece, in fact, was about blogging. Check it out here if you feel like. Stay warm.

For what it's worth eamon coyne, I love getting WA via email. I read it before anything else ie the news of the day. There's a lot to be said for starting the day with poetry. Cheers!
